I so agree Wesley, Nadya & Frank! Lost was a much better show and experience thanks to Jay & Jack. They have kept me entertained while I’m running or walking for years now and this is one way I can say Thank You. Looking forward to some great podcasts!
What about the Married Man and the Jay and Jack show? Are they still free?
@Jim – I think that both of those are still going to be free, though I’m honestly not positive.
*high five* to frank green ..
At first I thought “pay for a podcast, never!”, then I thought of all the entertainment that J&J (and Dale) have provided for me over the years. Really, $2.99 is one less beer a month, and well worth the investment.
Yet, you’re still here Bill. Unsubscribe, no one is making you come here to post your inane replies.
you pay your student loans 8 cents at a time?
Why wouldn’t I pay for it?
1 I’m not going to pay to listen to 2 guys jabber about tv shows.
2 I’m trying to pay off student loans and get out of debt.
3 I have more important ways to spend my money.
Nadya,
Exactly!
I commute for an hour every day, and if i time it right, J&J are in my ears all week. I spend 2.99 on an energy drink every day, i think i can plunk down the 9 cents a day… (or in my case 8 cents cuz i got the year)
Why WOULDN’T you pay for it?
I’ll tell you why.
I listen to all their podcasts. I listen to them at work, in the car, while doing the laundry…you get the picture. I also know that they invest massive amounts of man hours on them (2-3 podcasts a week when Lost was at it’s peak!!) with the recording, editing and uploading. They have to pay for server space, for the phone lines so people can leave their messages, for super fast internet, and for all the equipment they use.
The entertainment and laughs they provide are more than worth $2.99 a month for me, that’s why I subscribed for the year.
Why would anyone pay for a podcast?
