1. Some Common Problems:

Google Chrome likes to cut off the Log-in Button on the right side of the screen.  Sometimes when logging out of your account, the browser will freeze up, just refresh and hit the log out button again.  Pictures might take a longer time to load, but this happens the first time you long into the site, then it loads pretty fast.

2. I signed up for the Plus membership, but I can’t log in… What gives?

Your user name is your Full Email Address. Sometimes you”ve might have signed up for the Plus Membership through Paypal and not though www.jayandjacktv.com. Our system will sign you up with your email address that’s connected to Paypal. Our system will send you your user name and password to this address. We recommend keeping your Paypal email and your sign up email the same.

3. I signed up for the J&J Plus Membership, but I didn’t get an email?

a. When you sign up for Jay and Jack Plus, your account is automatically created with the email you’ve selected for your Paypal Account. All of our automatic emails will go to this account. You can change your email on your Profile Page.

b. DO NOT send money to Jay and Jack TV via Paypal. Our system will not automatically set up your Jay and Jack Plus account and you won’t receive any emails from us. If you send money via Paypal, you’ll have to cancel that subscription within your Paypal account and sign up via the Plus Membership here:

This will ensure that your account will be properly set up so you can download and access your Jay and Jack Plus Podcasts.

4. I don’t like using Paypal, is there another payment method I can use?

Unfortunately at this time, we do not offer any payments other than through Paypal. We are in talks about getting new payment methods and we will let you know when those are available. They will also be posted here, so stay tuned!

5. So, I need to “Activate” my Account?

Once you sign up for your Jay and Jack Plus Membership, you’ll automatically receive a conformation email. Click the link in that email to Activate your account. You’ll automatically receive a 2nd email that contains your new username and password. Use these to login to your Jay and Jack Plus Account.

Make sure you keep your username and password in a safe place and don’t give it out to anyone!

6. How do I change my email address and password?

When you sign up for the Jay and Jack Plus Membership, we’ll automatically create your profile page. Here you can change all your information including your email address, username, and password.

7. What’s the Jay and Jack Facebook Group?

We use to have a Forum, but then realized that you guys probably already have a Facebook account. So what Colleen has marvelously created, is the Jay and Jack Group on Facebook.

Here, we will keep you up with the latest updates with Jay and Jack TV, Plus Podcast Releases, video releases, problems that may occur, site maintenance, or other things. Most importantly, it’s for you guys to communicate with friends and talk about TV!

8. So, I’ve just signed up. How do I get my Premium Podcasts?

There are two places where you can get your Premium Podcasts:

a. for iTunes:Premium Podcast FEED
b. for direct Download: Premium Podcast Download

9. Can I listen to my Premium Podcasts in iTunes?

Absolutely! Simply go to your feed key page and follow the directions to sign up via iTunes.

10. I can’t get the Premium Podcasts in iTunes, what’s wrong?

Make sure you enter in the username and password located on your feed key page and ‘NOT’ your Jay and Jack TV Plus Membership username and password. Also, make sure that you enter in the username and password exactly as it is on your feed key page.

11. I’ve signed up for Jay and Jack Plus, can I get a refund?

Unfortunately we do not offer refunds for any reason. However, you’ll get full access to your Premium Podcasts until your account expires. Say for instance, if you paid for one month, and you decide to unsubscribe to the Jay and Jack Plus membership, you’ll still get access to the Premium Podcasts for that month. There are rare cases in which we will honor refunds. For example, if our system has accidentally charged you twice, or charged you a million dollars.

12. I forgot my username and password, how do I get it back?

If you know your email address, then click here to get your password: Get my Password!
Your username is your paypal email address, if you have forgotten your username, then please send us an email at jayandjacktv@gmail.com

13. When I login to my account, I get the OOPs! page. What gives?

Sometimes our system acts a little strange and doesn’t allow you to login to your account. We have to fix this manually.

14. I’ve sent an email to jayandjacktv@gmail.com, but it’s taking forever to respond, why the long wait?

It’s because Clif’s the only one who’s answered the technical emails and making sure that everyone is having a great experience on www.jayandjacktv.com. I even write up this Q&A page to help you guys out. 🙂 But I will plan to answer questions and fix problems mainly on the weekends. So if you sent an email on Monday, chances are it will get answered on Saturday. I wish I could go faster, but I really can’t. In the future i’m going to work on getting faster response to you all. Thanks!
